Escape on the Murray River aboard your own self-drive houseboat. No boat licence is required. Drivers must be over 21 and hold an unrestricted driver’s licence. We’ll show you how to operate your houseboat before you depart.
Book online or send us an email. An $800 deposit secures your booking, with the remaining balance due two months before check-in. Minimum hire is 3 nights, with longer stays available if you want more time on the river. Around 21 days before your trip, we’ll send you an information pack covering what to bring, check-in and everything else worth knowing. Tinnies and stand-up paddleboards can also be added to your trip, and you simply pay for the fuel you use when you return.
There’s more than 100km of navigable river from Mildura, so there’s plenty of room to make the trip your own. Stop at a riverside pub, visit a winery, play golf, swim, fish, ski or find a quiet riverbank and stay there for the afternoon. We have flexible itineraries if you want some direction, but there’s no need to follow them word for word.
Mildura is home. Our team is based here, many of the boats in our fleet are owned by local investor groups, and we use local trades, suppliers and businesses wherever we can.
We also support local clubs, community groups and events, because we want houseboat tourism to benefit the region, not just us.
