Houseboat holidays are becoming increasingly popular, as they are a fantastic way to relax, unwind and build great memories with family and friends!

It is important to ensure you are fully prepared and organised for your houseboat holiday, here is a step by step plan for you. Questions to ask:

When?

Plan 12 months ahead for Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Otherwise 6-9 months is ample, but you may always be able to grab a stand-by bargain at short notice!

Who?

Whether you are planning a romantic retreat, a holiday with the kids and maybe even the family pet, a getaway with friends sharing the same interest – food, wine or golf, we have the houseboat to suit you! Deciding how many people you would like to join you on the houseboat is also a main factor of the planning phase.

Which?

Our houseboats have the option of having a spa, more bathrooms or more living space to enable guests to choose the appropriate houseboat for them and their guests and cater to their needs. If you are unsure which houseboat would best suit you, feel free to call us on 1800 800 842 and we will happily help you select the appropriate houseboat for you from our large fleet.

How long?

At Mildura Houseboats we have a minimum stay of 3 nights, this enables guests to be able to fully appreciate the beauty and serenity of our river.

Upon leaving, most of our customers often tell us they don’t want to leave, so it is advised that you plan your stay for as long as you can!

Booking?

We have online booking for 3, 5 or 7 nights. We accept Visa and Mastercard either online, over the phone or by email. A deposit of $800.00 is required to secure a booking. We will also require a complete Booking Coupon ‘which can be downloaded here’, accepting our terms and conditions.

Payments?

If booking for a large group, we recommend that you request a financial commitment from all members early on. We will send you a courtesy reminder when final payment is due (2 months before boarding), or you can make progress payments if you wish.

Before boarding?

Upon receiving final payment, we will be in contact to confirm your boarding time and discuss any single beds, cots, high chairs or other requirements that might be needed. This also gives you the opportunity to book fishing gear, small craft and also ask us to make any restaurant or golf course bookings. We can also help you with any other enquiries such as, airport taxi, online groceries etc.
