A houseboat holiday can provide challenges for many people.  We have addressed these challenges in as many ways as possible, to make your holiday more enjoyable and relaxing.  We have tried to address most issues below, however if you have another challenge that you require assistance with, we encourage you to contact us on 1800 800 842 or by email info@mildurahouseboats.com.au

Is your issue

Limited mobility?

We provide

  • flat boarding areas,
  • special ramp for elderly, vision impaired or infirm – please request on booking
  • seating in office,
  • parking adjacent to houseboats,
  • Information on flat mooring spots, places where assistance is available, e.g. golf buggies at Riverside golf club, access ramp at Trentham Estate Winery
  • Some houseboats with limited wheelchair access, provided you have some mobility
  • Shower chair – please request on booking

 

 

Small children?

We provide

  • Cots and high chairs – please request on booking
  • Children’s lifejackets – which will be fitted on boarding
  • Board games and DVDs
  • Child safety railings on most houseboats – please check on booking

 

Sleep Apnea?

We provide

  • 24 hours 240 volt power on some houseboats, with power points in the bedrooms
  • 12 volt sockets in bedrooms on some houseboats for machines which already have adaptors
  • Please check with us prior to booking which houseboats have the facilities you require.
